In May of 2011, Delavan began delivering its' New Power Horse 4 Car Head Ramp, mated with our Model 6000 Trailer (a well established Commercial Trailer, highly regarded in the Auto Transport Industry). This new combination unit will become a stand-out in the North American Market, as it's capable of loading (10) vehicles Quickly and Efficiently. This unit is available with Auto-Lock cylinders and/or pinning cylinders.

This year's conference was focusing on capacity issues that will face the OEM for the coming months. The car-carriers fleet in the US went from 13,000 down to 8,000. Some of the reasons for this drastic shrinkage in capacity is due to major carriers bankruptcy like PTS and BLUE THUNDER but also a slow down in new equipment investments during the past recession.

Delavan is working hard to prepare for our customer's future needs. We are designing new concept trailers that will help our customers reduce their cost per mile and increase their productivity.
